A quick summary: this species of aloe is much more powerful than the normal aloe (barbadensis) and the comparison is 70% immunologic compared to 40%. The raw, un-heated honey attracts the aberrant gene which then consumes the entirety.
BONUS: It tastes Delicious! Elaina and her employees love taking Aloe Arborescens 3x daily as it provides a sweetness and great flavor without feeding yeast, fungus, cancer mold or candida and does not spike blood sugar.
The directions are on the bottle. A copy of the book is also available here.
What is aloe vera?
Small, expanding in the form of a shrub and with fleshy, succulent leaves of about 60 to 90 cm long. It has a base stretching from 8 to12 cm.This is the plant of aloe vera, or Aloe Barbadensis Miller, which represents one of over 300 varities known as Aloe.vegetals.It is an evergreen plant, with succulent leaves and flowers in a longish form with spectacular shades ranging from pale green to red to yellow and orange. It blossoms in Summer when the colour then becomes light green with delicate shades, sometimes spotted in pink in cold periods. It does not have a trunk, but is made up of a rather big bush of some 12 to 30 leaves. It cannot tolerate extreme weather conditions or excessive humidity. It is condidered a mature plant after 3 or 4 years. Its structure and consistency vaguely remind us of cactus. Its leaves are fragile and fleshy, growing like a rose, with thorns disposed in spiral form round the stem. It spreads easily with buds blossoming from its base. The young plants should be kept in the sun and on sandy and porous ground.
We are dealing with a plant originating in Africa, diffused then in America following Christopher Colombus’ and Amerigo Vespucci’s expeditions. The hot and humid climate of central America favoured then its diffusion in the Cari bbean archipelago, among these the islands of Barbados whose name takes after the scientific Barbadensis. After 1950, plantations also sprouted in central and Southern USA (Texas, Arizona and Florida; but also in Mexico and South America).
Initially the plant was considered to belong to Liliacee family, until Londoner Tom Reynolds’ discovery, who proposed a new classification introducing the category of aloacee. The mucilage of aloe contains a sort of absorbing cellular tissue able to accumulate water filtered through its roots and leaves. Through the alchemy of its metabolism, this water transforms itself in bitter and translucent gel which is sought after for its medicinal properties. Cutting one leaf, one can observe how immediately the plant recovers producing a special protective liquid which forms a film, able to impede bacteriological contamination.
A brief history
Aloe’s healing powers have been known since ancient times. Among witnesses’ accounts, verified episodes, traditions, legends, it has left numerous traces of its presence throughout Man’s evolution, from the very dawn of civilisation. The word äloe means “bitter” , from Hebrew, “Allal” or also from Arabic “Älloch”. It seems to have been mentioned first by the Sumers, incised on argyl slabs. It must have been the first reference to the therapeutic use of aloe (musabbar). The plant is also represented on Egyptian vases, while it is known amongst the Hindu tribes as “the silent healer”. In Egypt in particular, aloe was considered an authentic trait of pharaohs’ long life. The latter desired to have the plant among other objects present in the tomb as accompaniment in their journey towards another life.
This explains the presence of vast plantations of aloe around pyramids and in the streets which today still lead to the Valley of the King. Aloe also contained cosmetic properties and was extensively used by women. And none other than Hippocratus, in ancient Greece, speaks of aloe as being able to heal serious diseases, apart from citing countless other healing powers. It is told that Alexander the Great, hurt by an enemy arrow, was rubbed with aloe oil coming from the island of Socotra and, once cured, turned his attention towards conquering the island in order to ensure that the plantations of the “miraculous” plant were his. The Romans came to know about the plant during the Punic wars. Dioscoride, a Greek doctor rendering his services among the Roman armies, described its cicatrizing powers in his book “De materia medica”, divided in five volumes in which are cited the powers of plants. The aloe plant was also cited by Plinio The Old in 75 A.D.in his “Historia Naturalis”.
Even in the Christian tradition, aloe is well known and held in high esteem . In the Bible, we find numerous references to this plant. In the Psalms (45-8) there is written that the “garments of the King are perfumed with mhyrr and aloe” whilst in chapters (John 19-39 )it is said that : “Nicodemo, who had visited Jesus that very night, came bringing a medicine of mhyrr and aloe, weighing almost a hundred pounds. He took Jesus Christ’s body and covered it in linen bands with scents, according to the burial rites used by the Jews”.
Aloe is the lily of the desert for the Tuareg of the Sahara. It was known in Mesopotamia and held in high esteem by the Ayurvedic medicine of India.
I soldati napoleonici furono curati con essa dopo che ne avevano scoperto l'esistenza dai mammelucchi arabi, loro nemici.
The Napoleonic soldiers were cured with it after they had discovered the powers of aloe, the pharmaceutical par excellence of their enemies, the Muslims. It was Christopher Colombus who, once his marines on the Santa Maria (one of his three ships) were cured with aloe in North Africa, he baptized it again “Ä doctor in a bottle”. During his voyage towards the New World, he wrote in his diary “Todo està bien, hay aloe a bordo” (“everything is fine, on board we have aloe”). Paracelso, a great doctor of the Renaissance period, speaks of the “mysterious secret ‘áloe’ whose golden juice heals scalds and blood poisonings.” The Jesuit fathers in Portugal and Spain cultivated it in the American colonies, in Africa and the Extreme Orient calling it “The tree of Jesus”. Through these Jesuits, aloe was imported in the Caribbean, where its name Barbadensis came from the island of Barbados, or better “äloe vera” according to the definition given by botanist Linneo. Aloe is also known among the American Indians (“the celestial doctor” according to the Jvaros), with which they cured migrain, calculi and cough.
Aloe vera was and is still known in extreme Orient. In Japan it was used in various forms, drunk and eaten or rubbed all over the body, while it is used (especially the Aloe ferox) in acupuncture according to the Chinese tradition and also against skin burns and disease.
Father Romano Zago, Franciscan Scholar from Brazil, wants the Whole World to Know the Secret of the Potent Brazilian Juice Recipe for Supreme Immune Health.

|
|
Father Romano Zago, OFM, was born in Lajeado (RS) Brazil on August 11, 1932. He was ordained a Franciscan friar in 1958 after having studied philosophy and theology.
In 1971, he received a degree in literature and foreign languages (Latin, Portuguese, French and Spanish) from the faculty of literature at Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul. In 1988, while presiding at the San Antonio parish in Pouso Novo (RS) Brazil, he learned from local natives about a potent all-natural Aloe arborescens recipe they used to promote supreme immune health. He began to recommend it to people he came to know and pastor. It was here he first observed the positive results obtained with phytonutrition. Afterwards, he was sent to Jerusalem and Italy, where he continued to see great success in the improvement of the immune system health of people with health challenges when he recommended they try this recipe made with the whole leaf of the native Aloe arborescens plant that grows in the region. This inspired him to devote his life to research and education on the Aloe arborescens botanical and the Brazilian recipe for the benefit of mankind worldwide. This led to his publishing of two books on the Brazilian Aloe arborescens recipe, one of which includes in its appendix the Scientific Monographic history of Aloe vera and Aloe arborescens.
|
Father Romano Zago was the first to publicize the “Brazilian Recipe of Aloe arborescens, honey and distillate” that has since become acclaimed on five continents.
At the request of many people and organizations, he has given lectures and conferences in Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, France, Italy and Brazil about the health benefits people have derived from using the recipe.
Father Zago explains how phytotherapy research has shown the abundant supply of phytotherapeutic and nutraceutical properties of Aloe arborescens promotes healthy blood, colon, cardiovascular and immune system support.
He found a great deal of scientific evidence suggest that consuming certain obscure plant sugars found in nature work to support the action of the immune cells and can make the difference between optimal and mediocre immune function. Botanicals like Aloe vera and Aloe arborescens that are scientifically designated as powerful immune complements are full of complex sugars called polysaccharides, which promote desirable immune activity.
Recent studies administered by the Palatinin Salzano Venezia Institute in Italy have discovered that Aloe arborescens is 200% richer in phytotherapeutic compounds than Aloe vera. (Zago, Father Romano, OFM, The Scientific Monographic History of Aloe Vera and Aloe Arborescens, Private Paper, Italy, 2002.)
In his writings on the Scientific Monographic History the Aloe Vera and Aloe Arborescens, Father Romano Zago states: “Aloe is food. If you choose to take Aloe, you will benefit nutritionally because it is a complete food. Aloe possesses a full complement of polysaccharides and other phytonutrients.” However, it is important to consider the ingredients collectively. The question is often asked, “Is there an active ingredient that can reveal the mystery of Aloe so its reliability can be fixed objectively and its credibility as a health-promoting plant is no longer disputed?” The answer is that the active ingredient acts through synergism. The exact meaning of synergism is “the working together of one or more agents to produce an effect greater than the sum of their individual effects.” When we understand this principle, it is obvious that many elements with considerable therapeutic potential, considered essential to the vital process in a healthy body, when taken separately are, in most cases, unsuccessful or produce doubtful results. To learn more about Aloe arborescens and the Brazilian recipe click here: www.aloearborescens.org
Father Romano Zago realizes many people cannot possibly prepare the juice recipe fresh from home for various reasons and must rely on a commercial source for this 10-day liquid recipe supplied in a 16-oz. dark bottle. In this case, it is important to choose a manufacturer that uses premier quality five-year-old Aloe arborescens plants harvested at the proper time, processed by grinding the whole leaf into a juice without heating, cold pressing or freeze drying in order to retain all the active polysaccharides and phytonutrients needed to guarantee maximum effectiveness. Finally, the recipe must have at least 40% Aloe arborescens juice, honey, 1% alcohol and be stabilized for a long shelf life with the use of beneficial preservatives.
Consuming the Brazilian health juice recipe enables the body to optimize its own functions and systems that promote good health. Father Zago indicates, in simple practice, how the use of the plant recipe gently cleanses the whole body and promotes supreme immune health.**.

Properties of the Plant
But how come Aloe vera, this plant that has practically come into contact with all major civilisations and has been praised and exulted as a formidable healer, shows such efficacy? Above all, is it really true that it possesses healing powers which notion is at the basis of Father Romano Zago’s medicine? Let us take a brief look at what Chemistry and Medicine have to say about the real properties of this plant.
It had long been used as powder, obtained from the drying of leafs ( a method still used in Antille and in numerous other Third World countries). Aloe’s major efficacy is in gel form which is very rich in nutrients and which can be obtained by weighing heavily the plant leafs. The part used is the colourless gel found in the internal part, the heart of the plant, which possesses stringent, anti-bacteria, cicatrizing, anti-inflammatory and antiviral properties. The latter are given to the gel by aloe vera through a mixture of substances present in it, which act synergically obtaining the numerous benefial effects described above.
In partiacular, aloe contains vitamins A , C and E, and all varities of vitamin B. These vitamins have an antioxidizing effect, neutralizing the free roots and in this way avoiding the aging of the cells. Vitamin A especially, has a very important function strengthening the immune system, one of the fundamental properties of aloe because it reinforces the mucuous membrane. This membrane, in its own turn, holds back the germs and allows the enzymes to attack and destroy the germs, instead of allowing them to filter the organism.
Above all, however, this plant has a very high percentage of amino acids, alanine, arginine, aspartic acid, glutamic acid, glycine, istidine, lysine, methionine, proline, serine, tyrosine all very important for the formation of protein. Among these, lysine is the one which is contained in high quantities in aloe.
Even minerals are contained in a great variety in aloe vera (In every element: calcium 18,6mg –potassium carbonate 31,4 –iron 44-manganese 4,5-magnesium 3,1 – sodium 12,7 – zinc 1,7), among these calcium, iron, phosphorus and potassium help bone and muscle structure and the nervous system. Apart from all the above, aloe also contains numerous enzymes which act during the digestive process, speeding up the metabolism and favouring the elimination of toxins , cholesterol and obesity.
Furthermore, in aloe vera one finds properties like complex antrachinonic (aloe-emodim, aloetic acid, aloina, antracina, antranolo, barbaloina, crisophanic acid, ethereal oil, extracts of cinnamic acid, isobarbaloina and resistanolo) which all function as analgesic, anti-inflammatory agents in spinal pain and pain in general. Finally, there are in the aloe steroids (it supplies 4 principal plant steroids: cholesterol, campesterol, lupeol and Beta-sistosterol which are all anti-inflammatory agents while lupeol also possesses antiseptic and analgesic properties), sugar [mono and polisaccharide] with anti-inflammatory action. Acemanane, on the other hand, activates the immunologic system in defense against virus, bacteria and environmental contamination. Saponine (glicosides) possessing antiseptic action and cleansing power, activate hormones (auxine and giberelines) which facilitate the cicatrization and anti-inflammatory action, phitotherapic elements like linine and facilitate the penetration power of the gel into the skin, moisturizing and nourishing it in the process.
The most recent studies have shown the presence of acemanane in aloe vera. We are dealing in this case with a macromolecule soluble in water, which increases the production of macrophages, a major element in the elimination of tumour. In practice, this substance has the cleansing power and stimulates the immune system, fully activating its function in our body. It also possesses germicide, battericide and fungicide properties.
In the past the use of aloe vera gel was much more limited and difficult because the gel tends to oxidize rapidly losing its properties in the action. Today instead, it is possible to “stabilize” and preserve aloe also through natural freezing processes, in such a way as to maintain its properties. For this process, elements used are natural preservatives and antioxidants so as to keep both colour and taste.
The series of properties previously mentioned allow aloe to carry out numerous cleansing and reinvigorating functions in the human organism.
As regards serious illnesses, there are numerous first-hand accounts which narrate of the formidable effect of blood purification and cell reinvigoration, including the effect in the organism’s defence system and its agents which become able to attack the metastasis. Officially medicine has not given its final stand on the subject. However, one can safely affirm that aloe constitutes a real and proper natural cure possessing some very powerful agents in fighting the degenerative action of tumour. There is no magic involved, thus no confusion or potion; it is rather a real arsenal for the defence immune system. Aloe has the properties of being refreshing and regenerative, despite being such a simple plant. .
Relationship with official medicine:
The book “The silent healing”, a modern scientific study on aloe vera by Doctor Bill Coats, conducted in the United States and also available in Italy, Dr. Coats traces the long list of illnesses against which aloe’s efficacy proved to be considerable. The use of aloe for medical science in the West, especially in the prevention and cure of cancer, is still in its inception. This can be explained by the fact that up till now experimentation conducted so far have been carried out on guinea-pigs and in laboratories and medical protocols testing the validity of a new product are long and elaborate. Long years have to pass following experiments in laboratories so that these can shift onto human beings and only at the end of this ulterior phase is authorization granted to produce pharmaceuticals containing the new substance.
In the research protocols, however, the results are very encouraging.
There are numerous testimonies of the unequivocal efficacy of aloe in working against diseases in a natural way, deeply cleansing the organism and stimulating the immune system. Many of these testimonies come directly from Fr. Romano Zago’s experience. The Father deserves praise for having collected and divulged in all the West, this old recipe which was already known by our ancestors and by the simplest of people who have always trusted natural remedies. The very important functions of acemanane, present in high quantities in aloe vera, have been officially demonstrated by numerous documented International studies. At present in the United States of America, the Food and Drug Administration is carrying out tests on the effects of aloe vis-à-vis the Aids virus.
It is nonetheless certain that aloe has at least three basic functions: an oncostatic action which is antiproliferating; a stimulating action in the case of the immune system and an antioxidizing action. The most recent acquisitions – or better scientific acquisition – confirm that aloe possesses an exceptional concentration of substances which can push the human organism to register extraordinary recovery even in the case of the worst illnesses, in a completely natural and lasting manner.
