When you think of meditation what do you think of? For some, it might be something you don't really have time for, and it's not that important. Others think it's a bit tedious but they do their best to get 20 minutes in a couple of times a week. And the last group are people who meditate daily because they realize the benefits such as:
- The day seems to flow much better on days you meditate
- You feel more inspired to do self-care
- You feel motivated at work and on projects to do your best
- Your mind and body seem to be more at ease throughout the day
- You find that you don't get as worked up in traffic or in arguments or disagreements
- Your mind seems clear
If you are in the first and second group and would like to try giving it another try, I will be offering weekly Meditation Mondays.
Starting at 7 am each Monday, we will gather on zoom. I will lead you through some grounding and breathing exercises and then a guided meditation for about 20 minutes. If you have time to stay after, I will open up the floor for discussion and shares.
